Betsy R. Wald has been helping families for 20 years in a variety of settings. She has led mother-infant groups, positive discipline workshops, and goal-setting groups for corporations, non-profits, and school systems including Credit Suisse, Public Defenders of New York City, Mothers and More, Playhouse Cooperative Nursery School, Jersey City Moms, MOMentum, Maplewood South Orange School System, Maplewood Memorial Library, and more.
She founded First Step, the first job readiness program specifically designed for homeless and formerly homeless women, at the Coalition for the Homeless in New York City.
Betsy received her B.A. from Yale University, her MSW from
Yeshiva University, and her MLIS from University of Wisconsin,
Milwaukee.
